Sarah started teaching Pilates in 1999. She found the principles of Pilates exercise to be the answer to managing back problems, improving posture and strengthening those vital core muscles that everyone talks about. The classes have been an important tool to manage her patients’ injuries from treatment to returning and maintaining full healthy function in their daily lives. With Pilates being the foundation of the exercises in her sessions, she has added her own flavour of exercise which she says “adds some fun and a dynamic more functional aspect to Pilates”. She uses physio balls, soft balls, resistance bands and foam rollers to vary the sessions.
