Tennis Conditioning

In any sport, the last thing an athlete needs is an injury. It costs precious time off training, time out of important competitions and much unnecessary mental stress. A well planned, scientific-based, sports-specific fitness programme, working alongside an excellent coaching programme, is undoubtedly the best combination of developing a world class athlete.

Over the last two years Sarah has been working on programmes to include all areas of tennis conditioning-speed and agility, strength, power, flexibility, core strength, balance and co-ordination. These programmes are specific to age and ability of the player and follow the players’ periodization calendar through the year.

So far the academies have been injury free with good results in the local and national tournaments!
